PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY

Duties include, but are not limited to: Provides assistance with ADL’s, changes bed linens and makes beds, aids in the delivery of activities. Responsible for resident record documentation. Greets visitors and answers telephone. Carries out special duties or projects as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience: High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge: Knowledge of working with the elderly, Alzheimer’s and dementia preferred.

Skills: Must be able to complete daily requirements effectively and efficiently.

Abilities: Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations and make independent decisions. Must be willing to be a part of a team. Must have flexible work schedule.
