Responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs. Provides assistance with ADL’s, changes bed linens and makes beds, laundry. Responsible for resident record documentation. Carries out special duties or projects as assigned in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors.


Education and/or experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia preferred. Must possess good driving record and have ability to obtain F endorsement on driver license.

Knowledge: Knowledge of importance of socialization and how to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset preferred.

Skills: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Print Master and various computer applications preferred. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Abilities: Must possess, work well with in a team, have a flexible work schedule, make independent decisions, and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
